West Brom endure cutoff time day humiliation as last-ditch advance arrangements fail to work out

West Bromwich Albion's expectations of building a crew for advancement were managed a humiliating

blow on the last night of the window after they missed the cutoff time

 to submit contracts for Josh Onomah and Steven Alzette.

Steve Bruce needed to add to the midfield couple and concurred a credit for the rest of the time

just to submit desk work to the EFL after the cutoff time elapsed.

With respect to Onomah, he finished a clinical on the evening of the cutoff time in London's

 Harley Street prior to traveling to the Midlands to finish the arrangement.
